Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Middleware Developer, you will be part of a development team, participating in various development activities focusing on Middleware for Android terminals. Your mission will be to analyze requirements from customers, draft technical solutions, participate in feature development, and contribute to the test effort. You will also participate in documentation for deliverables, both internal and customer-facing, and contribute to the maintenance of existing deliverables by supporting customers and fixing issues raised by them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the global picture and identify impact on other system components.
  • Stay up-to-date with technology in the domain and be one step ahead of users.
  • Act as a technical referent for project managers, product managers, managers, and customers regarding software project status.
  • Have a continuous improvement spirit and enable actions to improve the work environment, software project schedule, and quality.

Requirements

You have a Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent and at least 10 years of experience in relevant software development functions. You are fluent in French and English and familiar with management and reporting tools (Jira, Confluence, BI, ...). Experience in the payment domain is also required.

Technical Skills

Strong experience in C/C++ programming language (embedded system focus, toolchain), Java, Python, and Rust programming language. Experience with Android internal customization, build process of Android system, Linux OS, source code management tool (e.g., Git), CI/CD (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Git, Sonarqube), and IDE (e.g., Android Studio) is also necessary.

Desirable Skills

  • Android application development, clean architecture, cryptography, object and functional programming, dependency injection, build system (Gradle, Gradle plugins), testing tools (JUnit, UIAutomator, Robot framework, Robolectric, telecommunication protocol (Wifi, Bluetooth, 4G))
