At Europcar Mobility Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Communications and Public Relations to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the company's internal and external communications strategy and play a key role in promoting our brand and values.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive internal communications plan to support cultural change within Europcar France. This will involve coordinating communication efforts across departments, organizing internal events, and monitoring the effectiveness of internal communication strategies.

In addition, the Head of Communications and Public Relations will be responsible for enhancing Europcar France's employer brand to attract and retain top talent. This will involve collaborating with HR to create compelling employer branding content, developing partnerships with educational institutions and industry organizations, and managing press relations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal and external communications, with a proven track record of managing press relations and building strong media connections. They will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English, as well as strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.

We are looking for a creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The successful candidate will be able to work unsupervised and successfully complete tasks within tight deadlines. They will also be willing to stay highly informed about the market and any potential changes.

The Head of Communications and Public Relations will report to the Marketing, Revenue Mgt and Customer Experience Director and will be a key member of the company's leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications plan to support cultural change within Europcar France.
  • Enhance Europcar France's employer brand to attract and retain top talent.
  • Manage and execute external communication strategies to enhance the company's public image and business goals.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate events and sponsorships to promote the Europcar and Goldcar brands.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in internal and external communications, preferably within a corporate environment.
  • Proven experience in managing press relations and a strong network in the journalism industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Competences:

  • Languages: Excellent written and oral communications skills in French & English (mandatory)
  • Able to work in complex international / local organisation
  • Experience in cultural change management and employer branding.
  • Knowledge of the automotive or transportation industry.
  • Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms, including social media management.
