Job Title: Legal Counsel

Yubo is seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our team. As a Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for advising on laws and regulations related to content and safety, including the Digital Services Act and the AI Act in the EU.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise on laws and regulations relating to content and safety
  • Support the Trust & Safety team in content moderation issues and law enforcement cooperation worldwide
  • Support the Product team in ensuring compliance with privacy and safety by design principles
  • Provide legal support to the Public Affairs function
  • Assist the DPO in creating and implementing privacy programs
  • Manage and monitor contracts lifecycle
  • Assist the Legal team in managing authorities investigations and information requests
  • Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
Requirements:
  • Master 2 degree in Law, ideally with a specialization in Intellectual Property (IP), Information Technology (IT), or Data Law
  • Bar Admission (Optional)
  • Professional background in a legal role, preferably within a corporate environment or a law firm with exposure to technology clients
  • Specific knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations, particularly those relevant to the European market
  • Platform Regulation and Compliance
  • Regulatory Cooperation and Audits
  • Contract Drafting and Negotiation
  • Collaboration with External Counsel
  • General Legal Knowledge and Adaptability
