Project Procurement Specialist

Aligned with the procurement strategy of SUEZ International and within the Engineering & Construction domain, the Project Procurement Specialist is tasked with overseeing one or multiple EPC projects both in France and abroad.

Reporting directly to the Purchasing and Supply Chain division, you will be accountable for the procurement activities related to your assigned projects, aiming to enhance the profitability of construction and operational contracts while ensuring timely delivery and managing associated risks within infrastructure development initiatives:

  • Establish sourcing strategies for each procurement category in partnership with Project management and Purchasing leadership
  • Oversee supplier relationships, ensure adherence to contracts, negotiate amendments, and resolve conflicts in accordance with Project needs
  • Conduct thorough analyses of requirements and proposals, engaging stakeholders to drive optimization (supplier innovations, value assessments...)
  • Secure the most favorable financial and contractual terms for the acquisition of goods and services
  • Proactively identify needs to enhance Project outcomes
  • Guarantee compliance with timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints on your projects
  • Foster strong relationships, collaborate effectively, and share insights with your team
  • Uphold strict adherence to Purchasing protocols, ethical standards, compliance, and relevant HSE regulations

Your Profile

Generalist Engineer or Bachelor's degree in Procurement, with demonstrated experience as a Buyer or senior buyer in an industrial setting.
Proactive, inquisitive, self-sufficient, organized, and detail-oriented
Strong leadership and negotiation capabilities
Excellent proposal development skills and a mindset focused on continuous improvement
Exceptional interpersonal skills, a team-oriented approach, and an ability to educate others
Proficient in English, with a third language being advantageous
