About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Industrial Engineer to join our team. As a Field Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing methods for New Equipment and Service activities. You will work closely with our Engineering and Field Operations teams to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient job execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement methods for New Equipment and Service activities
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Field Operations teams to ensure efficient job execution
  • Develop and maintain documentation for methods and procedures
  • Conduct method testing on test towers and job sites
  • Ensure methods align with Safety Standards and are implemented on job sites
  • Harmonize installation methods across Otis worldwide
  • Interface between Engineering and Field teams throughout the Product Development Process
  • Ensure design team collaboration for layouts, wiring diagrams, and parameters
  • Measure and ensure estimated time is applicable on site
  • Communicate with mechanical and Field Operations Department leads about new findings and updates
  • Deal with Field Turn Backs

Requirements:

  • Hold an engineering degree
  • English speaking (French would also be appreciated)
  • Safety oriented
  • Familiarity with methods software (i.e., CREO Parametric, Altova, Arbortex)
  • Good spatial vision and ability to detect possible problems in 2D and 3D drawings
  • Be innovative to ease and make Field more efficient
  • Ability to bring all needs together and implement the best solution applicable to all countries
  • Understand quality standards, norms, and regulations
  • Collaborative communication and work with Engineering/Factories and the Field community
  • Have a sense of service/team spirit (working in project mode)
  • Be autonomous, proactive, and customer oriented
  • Knowing time measurement methods (i.e., Bedaux or MTM) is an advantage
