Role Description & Responsibilities

As a PreSales Consultant, you will be responsible for explaining, demonstrating, and proving the value of our advanced planning and optimization solutions to clients through in-depth industry and technical expertise. Your work will focus on top clients in EURONORTH (UK, Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway) across a variety of industry domains, with a focus on supply chain planning with our DELMIA brand. This includes challenges like demand planning, capacity planning, resource allocation, logistics planning, workforce planning, and detailed scheduling.

This role offers a unique combination of optimizational planning knowledge and software sales in a very innovative and international environment. You will be part of the DELMIA brand, which provides solutions for defining, optimizing, and controlling the entire production, service, and distribution process in 11 different industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical sales engagements using a consultative selling approach
  • Translate real-life challenges into workable, supportable software models to deliver value beyond the base product, and articulate this in customer situations
  • Deliver software demonstrations, tender responses, proof of concepts, and management presentations to clients
  • Be able to act as a trusted adviser and apply storytelling techniques
  • Linking pin between Sales and Services, transforming vision into implementation
  • Advise clients based on your in-depth understanding of their business processes and your knowledge of our Product Portfolio and Industry Solutions; and map the customers 'AS-IS' and 'TO-BE' business processes
Qualifications
  • Bachelor, Master, or PhD in Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, Transportation Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or other relevant study field
  • Knowledgeable in planning processes and systems: Demand forecasting, capacity planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and day of operations
  • Knowledgeable in one or more industries is advantageous; Aviation, Rail, Logistics, CPG, Retail, Industrial Manufacturing
  • Proven experience with software implementations or digital transformations, demonstrating passion and working knowledge on IT solutions
  • Direct experience in technical sales, ideally in planning and optimization, enterprise, or supply chain management software solutions
  • A fluent communicator in the English language with an open mindset, people-oriented attitude, with a natural curiosity, and an entrepreneurial attitude who likes to collaborate and travel on a regular basis
