Department Overview:
The Service Department is dedicated to ensuring the optimal performance of our clients' wind farms, maximizing the efficiency of each turbine throughout its operational life. This team plays a crucial role in fostering long-term customer loyalty by ensuring turbines operate at peak capacity, delivering superior energy yield.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Area Manager.
- Assist the Operations Manager with the following tasks:
- Ensure compliance with all procedures and Vestas policies, including QSE requirements, and verify all safety-related documentation (risk assessments, prevention plans).
- Oversee the maintenance team within the regional center and conduct quality control of completed work.
- Monitor performance and costs within your maintenance center, proposing local solutions to contribute to cost efficiency.
- Participate in HR functions for your team, including recruitment, training, onboarding, safety meetings, annual performance evaluations, and development planning.
- Provide accurate reporting with supporting documentation.
- Technical Engineering degree or equivalent experience as a technician, with leadership capabilities.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance, electrical services, or related fields.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written (B1 level at European standard).
- Ability to interpret and explain maintenance contracts.
- Strong communication and management skills.
- Leadership qualities that facilitate effective communication, particularly in remote team settings.
- Flexibility, availability, and excellent organizational skills.
