About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Expert Infrastructure Engineer to join our Global Tech team at Pernod Ricard. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the global server infrastructure and enterprise SAN architecture, overseeing connectivity and configuration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the global server infrastructure and enterprise SAN architecture, overseeing connectivity and configuration.
  • Assist the product owner in the continuous improvement of the product by integrating new compute technologies and recommending changes that support the business in meeting company goals.
  • Provide L3 escalation support, including outside working hours where applicable, for critical systems as needed.
  • Coordinate and troubleshoot technical integrations across infrastructure, application, and platform teams, ensuring implementation aligns with design specifications.
  • Assist in developing standards, policies, and configuration guidelines, and document procedures for team review.
  • Manage organization and inventory of all infrastructure hardware and software resources.
  • Conduct routine audits of infrastructure hardware and software to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
  • Coordinate and implement infrastructure changes according to ITIL framework, independently managing changes in mission-critical functional areas while adhering to established designs and configurations.
  • Deploy server software installations, configurations, and upgrades across a diverse customer base initiatives as needed, and continuously develop their own skills based on industry trends/enterprise needs.
  • Follow change management policy/procedure and proper documentation procedure.
  • Ensure SLAs are met.
  • Standardize with other chapter members to ensure the services are delivered the same way across products.
Requirements
  • Have a degree in a technology-related field.
  • Have 10+ years experience with managing Azure IaaS and PaaS, VMWare, Windows Server, and Linux in a large enterprise organization and at least 5+ years experience with Powershell & Linux shell scripting.
  • Have deep expertise in infrastructure engineering and a strong expert technical background.
  • Ideally, have experience with Veeam & Tanium.
  • Have strong communication skills, with the ability to talk with both technical & non-technical stakeholders.
  • Be a teamplayer and have the ability to work in an agile development environment.
  • Have strong knowledge and insights into key challenges for the domain/family.
