About the Role
CIP is seeking a Grants and Contracts Specialist to support the operations of our Grants and Contracts department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and entering contract-related data into our ERP system, maintaining up-to-date databases, and supporting the drafting of compliance matrices.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and enter contract-related data into our ERP system.
- Maintain up-to-date databases and repositories of contractual transactions.
- Assist in cross-verifying grant/contract documentation for consistency.
- Draft compliance matrices for new awards.
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements, including timely submission of deliverables/reports.
- Support the follow-up actions for subgrant agreements.
- Assist in the subgrants close-out process.
- Manage electronic and hard copies of Grants and Contracts documentation.
- Distribute contractual documents internally and externally.
- Participate in project life cycle reviews and meetings.
Requirements
What We Are Looking For
- Student coursing at least the 4th year (8th Cycle) or recently graduated in International Development, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
- Preferred previous experience in an international organization/NGO or project-based organization, donor-funded projects, or a similar position in CGIAR organizations, Research Centers, or Public International Organizations.
- Basic knowledge of Data Analytics/Management and statistics.
- Desirable knowledge of design and visual communications tools, such as Genially or Canvas, AI.
- Proficient in MS Office, Office 365.
- Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Excellent interpersonal relationships skills and teamwork orientation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
