We are seeking a highly skilled Global Sourcing Manager to join our team at Confidentiel, an international industrial group listed on the stock exchange. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing our suppliers and providing semi-finished products to our industrial production lines.
Key Responsibilities- Manage relationships between our company and suppliers, including qualification and assessment.
- Analyze customer needs and market opportunities to develop effective sourcing strategies.
- Create and send RFPs/RFQs to selected suppliers, receive offers, and lead negotiations.
- Elaborate negotiation tactics, lead negotiations with suppliers, and create frame contracts/orders.
- Execute commercial management of contracts, organize regular management reviews with suppliers, and manage relationships with Sales and Projects teams.
- Master's degree in purchasing or a related field.
- More than 5 years of experience in purchasing category management.
- Technical knowledge of the category, ideally metallurgy engineer.
- Steel market and industry knowledge.
- Experience in managing big supplier accounts, ideally from Asia.
- Fluent in English.
