Position: Construction Economic Manager
Artelia is a leading technical engineering firm, comprised of around 100 professionals dedicated to the design and oversight of various technical disciplines, including structural engineering, HVAC, plumbing, medical fluids, fire safety, electrical systems, SMART Building technologies, BIM Management, Project Economics, and security solutions.
Our projects encompass high-value technical operations such as skyscrapers, commercial offices, hotels, retail centers, laboratories, train stations, and data centers.
As the head of the 'Construction Economics' division, you will oversee a team of three and engage in a variety of projects across both private and public sectors, focusing on construction and renovation initiatives.
Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development:
- Identify and engage with potential clients, both external and internal, to promote the services of your team.
- Prepare proposals for economic and descriptive missions.
- Broaden the range of services offered, particularly in relation to the RE2020 Carbon module and execution oversight.
2. Team Leadership:
- Facilitate team meetings to ensure effective communication.
- Distribute tasks among team members to optimize workload.
- Guarantee quality outcomes and adherence to deadlines.
3. Experienced Construction Economist:
- Support technical and economic missions for project stakeholders, including cost estimations during programming, feasibility studies, and competitions.
- Collaborate within a project management team:
- Draft architectural and construction lot descriptions across various study phases.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for all study stages.
- Engage in the construction phase and compile tender reports for project stakeholders.
- Oversee internal estimation and cost control tools.
- Contribute to the organization and maintenance of internal databases.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bac+2 degree with a focus on construction economics.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in similar roles.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- A collaborative team player capable of inspiring colleagues.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
- Familiarity with ATTIC+ software is preferred.
