Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to join our team at McCormick & Company. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for deploying our commercial strategy and analyzing the performance of our brands to maximize market share in the retail channels you are responsible for.
Main Responsibilities
- Analyze the performance of our brands in the retail channels you are responsible for (sales, market share, brand analysis, and competitor analysis).
- Recommend and implement strategies to optimize sales of the category in our retail channels and improve the performance of our brands.
- Participate in the management of relationships with your retail partners, with the support of the Category Manager Senior.
- Monitor the execution of our plans in collaboration with the Category Planning Service and the Sales Force.
Desired Profile
- Graduate of a business school or equivalent, with a first successful experience in Category Management and Sales in a leading FMCG company.
- Good knowledge of the French retail market.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
- Strong business acumen and result-oriented.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in office tools. A first experience with the use of distributor and consumer panels is a plus.
