We are seeking a Lead Legal Advisor – Procurement, to join us on a permanent basis. In this role, you will deliver legal guidance and expertise concerning legal matters that arise from our interactions with suppliers and subcontractors, while also promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics throughout the organization.
Your future responsibilities
Embrace a new challenge and utilize your drafting and negotiation skills in a dynamic environment. You will collaborate closely with various teams across the organization, coordinating within the procurement sector, providing legal support to sourcing managers on claims management, and advising on newly enacted legislation.
Your key responsibilities will include managing regular reports on quality, dispute resolution, and other legal matters that emerge during contract execution.
- Drafting and negotiating high-value contracts, including pre-bid, master, framework, service, and project agreements in a global context.
- Advising stakeholders on matters related to Intellectual Property, Export Control, Competition Law, Duty of Vigilance, Insolvency, and Cybersecurity.
- Reviewing and providing insights on newly introduced legislation and its potential implications for Legal Sourcing.
- Overseeing Contract Review and Negotiation: Enhance and streamline the process for contract development, review, and negotiation.
- Collaborating with external law firms.
- Conducting training sessions and awareness programs on Legal Sourcing related to sourcing contract management and compliance.
About you

- A Bachelor of Laws degree.
- Significant experience as in-house legal counsel or in private practice within an international context.
- Familiarity with sourcing considerations in a multicultural setting.
- Knowledge of procurement domains such as Metallic, Propulsion & Controls, Sub-Systems, Interiors, Services, Digital Integrated Services, and Turnkey.
- Comfort and experience working within a global matrix organization.
