Data Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Manager to lead our Data Platform squad within the Platform division. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for mentoring and coaching engineers, cultivating a collaborative team environment, and driving delivery of high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of 10 engineers in delivering great software that meets customer and seller needs
- Collaborate with product groups and other tribes to align the team with company objectives and initiatives
- Develop and implement processes to ensure continuous improvement and delivery excellence
- Establish open communication and a culture of feedback within the team
- Work with the team to identify and address technical challenges and opportunities for growth
- Experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams
- Strong technical skills in data engineering and architecture
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in an agile development environment
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as GCP and BigQuery
