Senior Financial Analyst for R&D Budgeting and Portfolio Management

About the RoleYou will work closely with the Head of PMO in the Global technology department to drive portfolio and budget management. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the PMO team in building and monitoring the R&D budget, ensuring accurate cost forecasts at project completion.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Global Technology R&D budget by proposing and implementing the financial framework, maximizing investment ratios to enable future revenues, and maintaining maintenance at necessary levels to valorize existing assets and minimize overhead costs.
- Continuously validate the alignment of R&D Budget & Portfolio with the company's strategy by monitoring and adapting investment profiles, Android investments versus Proprietary OS and Solutions investments.
- Optimize the method of financing R&D by maximizing the financial contribution of the CIR and the CAPI, and optimizing the level of offshoring.
- Build yearly terminals budgets together with senior management and align information with finance.
- Measure the R&D agility to provide the right solution to internal and external customers by providing and publishing KPIs following scope realization and project variables (budget, planning, costs, quality, risks).
- Track performance and apply risk and change management principles.
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst with 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, business administration, general accounting, and cost accounting. You should have experience in R&D Projects management and a strong interest in IT tools and systems. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of electronic payment industry.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proficient skills in Excel, PowerBI
- Reasonable knowledge of budgetary management and accounting principles, and procedures.
- Ability to prepare and present complex written and oral reports.
- Strong analytical mindset and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority and strong negotiation skills
- Strong team mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
We offer an attractive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
