About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Category Manager to join our team at AccorCorpo. As a key member of our Group Procurement Organization, you will be responsible for leading the Marketing & Communication and Professional Services categories, driving strategic sourcing initiatives, and developing category expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Category Strategy and Planning
    • Develop and implement category strategies to drive business value and reduce costs
    • Conduct market research and analysis to inform sourcing decisions
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align category strategies with business objectives
  • Supplier Management and Market Knowledge
    • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to secure best-in-class terms
    • Develop and maintain market intelligence to stay ahead of industry trends
    • Identify and mitigate supplier risks to ensure business continuity
  • Spend and Budget Management
    • Monitor and control category spend to achieve budget targets
    • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce expenses
    • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting
  • Category Visibility and Stakeholder Management
    • Communicate category strategies and progress to internal stakeholders
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to drive category adoption
    • Provide guidance and support to internal teams on procurement processes and policies
Requirements
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in procurement or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in category management and strategic sourcing
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects
  • Fluent English language skills (daily working language); French and other languages are a plus
