ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the UFR Package Manager, the incumbent will support the Subsea and UFR Package Manager in orchestrating the operations within the UFR Package. This includes coordinating all tasks with contractors, conducting meetings, facilitating dedicated reviews, performing audits, managing deviations, and providing technical clarifications as necessary.

The individual will oversee the interfaces with other packages, assist the UFR team by offering technical insights, and ensure the timely delivery of the UFR Package while providing effective support to the overall project UFR team.

KEY ACTIVITIES

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

  • Exhibit exemplary conduct regarding HSE standards.
  • Enforce HSE protocols within the designated area of responsibility.

Organizational Support:

  • Provide assistance to the UFR team as required.
  • Maintain regular communication with relevant headquarters and affiliate entities as requested by the UFR Package Manager.

Interface Management:

  • Oversee interfaces with all related packages (Drilling, SPS, FPSO, and Field Operations).

Project Management:

  • Organize and engage in weekly and monthly progress meetings.
  • Develop internal procedures as necessary.
  • Assist in the creation and monitoring of the UFR Package planning.
  • Collaborate with the UFR Package Manager to prepare the Project Execution Plan for the UFR Package.
  • Facilitate and participate in Project Reviews, including PTR.
  • Communicate with the UFR contractor's team and third parties to address daily challenges.
  • Anticipate potential issues within the scope of work and propose solutions or optimizations to the UFR Technical Leader and UFR Package Manager.
  • Ensure continuity of operations during the absence of the UFR Package Manager or UFR Technical Lead.
  • Follow up on specific topics as directed by the UFR Package Manager.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Ensure timely and adequate reporting of UFR Package progress.
  • Assist the UFR Manager in managing relations with partners regarding UFR matters and prepare for participation in workshops and committees as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all documentation produced.
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
  • The role is situated within the execution phase of a significant project. The team is multidisciplinary, coordinating studies managed by the client on offshore discoveries.
  • The technical challenges include reservoir development and management, FPSO, and subsea production/injection systems.
  • The team aims to maximize economic outcomes by optimizing reserves and schedules, reducing costs and emissions, while ensuring high technical quality and adherence to H3SE standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong inclination towards project management.
  • 15 to 20 years of experience in the studies and execution phases of large offshore oil and gas projects, particularly in UFR engineering, construction, installation, and commissioning.
  • Proficient in technical management and multitasking.
  • Strong team spirit and ability to manage relationships with internal and external teams effectively.
  • Capable of synthesizing information and solving technical challenges.
  • Attentive to project needs and committed to process improvement.
  • Autonomous, proactive, and energetic.
