About the Role
Gensler's Paris office is seeking a Junior Architectural Designer to contribute to the design and delivery of innovative professional environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in all project phases, from project strategy to completion, providing technical support and collaborating with multiple disciplines.
- Develop graphic presentations, including 3D renderings, for client presentations and project reviews.
- Contribute to the preparation of construction documents, including plans, elevations, details, and specifications.
- Assist in managing team and client communication, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies, and other vendors to achieve project objectives.
- Contribute to the development of the office and firm culture, initiatives, mentorship, and talent development.
- Support the Principals in developing client, contractor, and design team communications, maintaining strong external and internal relationships.
Requirements
- An undergraduate or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification professional work experience.
- Fluency in both French and English is essential for the role.
- Knowledge of French building regulations, codes, standards, and building structures.
- Proficiency in Revit is preferred.
- Ability to understand how buildings are constructed and create technical documents that succinctly describe the work to be done.
