Your Role

Gensler is in search of a Technical Coordinator for our Workplace Studios. As a Revit expert, you will be tasked with developing technical solutions that align with client and design specifications. Your experience in managing the technical workflow, combined with strong communication and teamwork abilities, will be essential in understanding and fulfilling the needs of clients, designers, and contractors.

What You Will Do

In the role of Technical Coordinator, you will leverage your creativity to craft distinctive professional spaces, providing essential technical support throughout all phases of project execution.

  • Lead the design and implementation of projects with an emphasis on workplace environments.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, collaborating with diverse teams to achieve significant outcomes.
  • Collaborate with our broader offices and consultancy teams to create innovative technical design solutions.
  • Initiate technical strategies that effectively address the client's requirements.
  • Assist the team in the detailed technical development of designs and provide input during the preparation and execution of construction documents and on-site activities.
  • Work alongside the Design Manager and Designer colleagues to enhance collaboration.
  • Ensure the technical team is informed about current building regulations and the Quality Management System.
  • Oversee the technical aspects of the project team and manage all project phases.
  • Guide the design team towards cohesive and rational technical solutions that adhere to project briefs while being technically, legally, and financially sound.

Your Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field, with proven experience in design, detailing, and/or construction practices.
  • Familiarity with French building regulations is essential.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit and related BIM software, with a strong practical background.
  • Significant experience in the design and delivery of architectural projects is required, with a preference for experience in workplace design.
  • Extensive knowledge of industrial construction techniques and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Competent in working within a Revit environment to BIM Level 2 standards.
  • Strong communicator, capable of articulating BIM concepts to various stakeholders.
  • A collaborative team player with leadership capabilities and a flexible mindset.
  • Proven ability to support a team with effective collaboration skills.
  • Capacity to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
