Technical Support Associate - Entry Level (EMEA)
The Technical Support Associate at Level 1 is responsible for delivering fundamental technical assistance to users within the organization. This role involves addressing common hardware and software challenges, troubleshooting standard IT issues, and aiding users with everyday tasks. Excellent communication and customer service abilities are essential for success in this position.

  • Deliver first-level technical assistance to users, either remotely or in person.
  • Diagnose and resolve basic hardware and software problems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and software applications.
  • Record and monitor support requests in a ticketing system, ensuring prompt resolution and thorough documentation.
  • Instruct end users on optimal computing practices and provide basic training as necessary.
  • Collaborate with higher-level support teams for escalated issues.
  • Keep precise records of hardware and software inventory.
  • Assist with routine IT maintenance activities.
  • Ensure workplace desktops are organized, complete, and fully operational.
  • Maintain an updated and orderly IT inventory.
  • Manage incident and request queues in ServiceNow in accordance with established service level agreements.
  • Complete hardware-related tasks promptly and accurately.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in computer science or a related discipline; foundational knowledge of Windows and Mac OS.
  • Less than one year of experience in IT support.
