The Senior Application Engineer is responsible for leveraging expert-level engineering knowledge and relationships to support regional accounts with significant impact on software revenue. To achieve this goal, they create and demonstrate simulation solutions to streamline customer workflows, supporting the software sales process; Collaborate with product development to enhance ANSYS products and improve customers' experiences using these products.
Responsibilities include participating in internal corporate initiatives to further improve solution suites, presales/sales enablement, and professional growth; Instructing intermediate and/or advanced training classes on the usage of ANSYS simulation products. The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or another technical discipline.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering software environment or as an engineer in the industry is required. Additionally, demonstrated use of relevant software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD software packages for structural analysis is necessary. Effective interaction with senior business managers and C-level executives is also essential.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or another technical discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering software environment or as an engineer in the industry.
- Demonstrated use of relevant software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD software packages for structural analysis.
- Ability to interact effectively with senior business managers and C-level executives.
- Demonstrated skills in writing and presenting in fluent English.
- MS or PhD degree preferred.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
