Position Overview

As the Food and Beverage Financial Analyst, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing the financial aspects of food and beverage operations at Accor Hotels. Your role will involve overseeing cost management, analyzing financial data, and implementing strategies to enhance profitability while ensuring high standards of service and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Oversight: Manage the procurement, storage, and distribution of food and beverage supplies to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce waste.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct regular assessments of food and beverage costs, including ingredient pricing, portion control, and sales performance, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Budget Development: Assist in formulating annual budgets and financial forecasts for food and beverage departments, focusing on revenue and cost projections.
  • Menu Development: Work closely with culinary teams to create menus that maximize profitability while ensuring guest satisfaction, considering cost structures and pricing strategies.
  • Supplier Relations: Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and quality products, fostering strong partnerships.
  • Control Measures: Establish and maintain internal controls for procurement and inventory management to mitigate risks of loss and ensure compliance.
  • Cost Reduction Strategies: Identify and implement initiatives aimed at reducing costs, such as waste management practices and efficiency improvements.
  • Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports on food and beverage financial performance, inventory status, and profitability metrics for management review.
  • Staff Training: Provide training to food and beverage personnel on best practices in cost control and inventory management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; certification in hospitality accounting is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector, focusing on food and beverage financial management.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data and develop actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in financial software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
