The City of St. Charles is in search of a dedicated Utility Billing Accounts Specialist to enhance our Finance department. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate and efficient management of utility billing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Review, monitor, and process monthly billing for electric, water, sewer, and refuse utility accounts.
- Address daily requests for utility service changes from residents and businesses, including terminations, establishments, and transfers of accounts.
- Identify and manage the collection of overdue utility accounts in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Candidates should possess intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Familiarity with billing software is advantageous.
