We are seeking an experienced Product Management Director to lead our technical product management team. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction and guidance to managers, supervisors, and professionals to achieve organizational goals and company direction.
The Product Management Director will be responsible for the overall product management, strategic vision, and execution of growth plans for a technology product, product family, or segment. This includes managing and improving technology products through research on online/digital product requirements and identifying enhancements to current features and functionality.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, preferably in the tax/accounting industry, and experience leading product management of a complex product portfolio in B2B enterprise software products. Bilingual skills in French and English are an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and guidance to managers, supervisors, and professionals
- Lead the direction of overall product management, strategic vision, and execution of growth plans
- Manage and improve technology products through research and identification of enhancements
- Interface with engineers, designers, suppliers, and customers to develop online/digital media product requirements and specifications
- Establish the company's spokesperson for the CCH iFirm product set to customers, influencers, associations, industry groups, and the market
- Ensure alignment of all functions in the business on key product/portfolio priorities
- Ensure alignment across the organization to ensure product, operational, customer, and sales readiness prior to any release or change
- Lead management of budget in collaboration with Finance and solve issues to deliver revenue commitments
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
- Graduate degree in a business-related field preferred, especially MBA
- Minimum 8 years in product management for software products, preferably in the tax/accounting industry
- Experience leading product management of a complex product portfolio in B2B enterprise software products
- Bilingual skills in French and English are an asset
