Project Controls Lead
Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Lead to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a Project Controls Lead, you will be responsible for establishing processes, templates, and tools to monitor project performance and ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain project controls processes, templates, and tools
- Monitor project performance and identify trends and root causes of deviations
- Lead the evaluation of project time, cost, and quality targets
- Cooperate with remote teams to ensure client value and satisfaction
- Guide and influence general contractors to ensure project progress and cash flow
- Act as key point of contact for clients to overcome delivery and commercial issues
- Control costs using knowledge of conceptual estimating, funding stage gates, and basic contingency principles
- Create and/or work within cost reports to summarize financials in an executive-level dashboard
- Understand change management principles and lead agreed change management processes
- Coordinate and lead planning sessions and workshops with clients and vendors
- Understand procurement principles and collate lead times from vendors and clients
- Actively participate in project team risk evaluations and incorporate defined risks into Monte Carlo simulations
- Work closely with project teams to stay informed on project changes and incorporate and communicate these to the project team
- Experience in project controls coordination in all phases of the project lifecycle
- Demonstrated experience in determining corrective actions or recommendations based on facts and figures
- Advanced skills in MS Office and Primavera P6
- Able to demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent service
- Reliable with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong time management skills, quick thinking, and ability to meet project deadlines
- Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to clients
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible mobility advantageous
