About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned E-commerce Director to lead our client's retail e-commerce strategy and operations. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for structuring and developing the e-commerce activity, driving growth, and optimizing performance.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement E-commerce Strategy
    • Conduct a thorough audit of the existing e-commerce operations and develop a comprehensive strategy aligned with the company's vision and business objectives.
    • Implement best practices in e-commerce, including process optimization, logistics, and customer experience.
  • Pilot E-commerce Operations
    • Manage the P&L of the e-commerce activity, focusing on growth, cost control, and margin optimization.
    • Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure e-commerce performance.
  • Optimize Delivery and Development
    • Coordinate and optimize the management of all e-commerce sites, providing tools and challenging KPIs to ensure performance.
    • Ensure a seamless customer experience through data analysis and corrective actions.
    • Identify growth opportunities and participate in responses to RFPs.
  • Team Management and Interface
    • Supervise and coordinate the e-commerce team, including social media and project managers.
    • Collaborate closely with other departments (Marketing, Logistics, Procurement) to ensure a cohesive customer experience across all channels.
    • Coordinate and monitor external service providers.
    • Report regularly to the COMEX on e-commerce performance and initiatives.
    • Stay up-to-date with competitive and technological trends to innovate and maintain a leadership position in the market.
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of experience in e-commerce management, with a focus on retail and omnichannel B2C environments.
  • Direct responsibility for managing an e-commerce P&L with a strong results-oriented approach.
  • Developed commercial and operational vision, with expertise in merchandising, logistics, customer service, and digital marketing (SEO, SEM, affiliation, retargeting, etc.).
  • Strong analytical approach and knowledge of e-commerce KPIs.
  • Confirmed management experience, with a track record of leading internal and external teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functions and directly with clients.
  • Interest in the cultural sector and a desire to work in a dynamic and evolving company.
  • Fluency in English is required.
