Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Stewarding team in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of F&B restaurants and kitchens
- Coordinate and ensure the cleanliness of all F&B areas, including equipment and storage spaces
- Deliver equipment for banquet and restaurant functions on time, fostering clear communication between teams
- Receive and store products, including food and dry goods, in the kitchens
- Provide professional, friendly, and proactive guest service while supporting colleagues
- Supervise the Stewarding team, ensuring standards are met and training is provided
- Review banquet event orders and ensure all set-ups and supplies are in place
- Check equipment daily to ensure it's in working condition and report any defects or malfunctions
- Follow department policies, procedures, and service standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including equipment and storage spaces
Requirements:
- Organized and a great team player
- Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience as a Steward in a reputable hotel in the UAE
- Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under noisy and fast-paced working conditions
