Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Stewarding team in maintaining the cleanliness of all F&B areas, including kitchens, restaurants, and storage spaces
- Coordinate and deliver equipment for setup and breakdown of banquet and restaurant functions on time
- Supervise the Stewarding team in all aspects of the department and ensure standards are followed
- Train Stewarding team members
- Review banquet event orders and ensure all set-ups and supplies are in place
- Check equipment daily to ensure all is in working condition and report any defects or malfunctions
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including all equipment and storage spaces
Requirements:
- Organized and a great team player
- Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene
- 1-2 Years of Supervisory experience as a Steward in a reputed hotel in UAE
- Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under noisy and fast-paced working conditions
Physical Aspects of Position:
- Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 45-50lbs
- Ascending or descending stairs and ramps
