About the Role:
Axens is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our industrial automation projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate project teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet business requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in industrial automation, with a strong background in automation and industrial computing.
- Knowledge of Siemens, Schneider Electric, and Rockwell systems, as well as Distributed Control Systems (DCS) such as Yokogawa, Honeywell, ABB, and Invensys.
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, C#, and.Net, with experience in PLC programming and HMI development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
- Ability to travel internationally, with a valid passport and any necessary visas.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in process start-up and commissioning.
- Knowledge of engineering and safety standards.
- Fluency in English and French, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
