At Deezer, we're committed to delivering exceptional music experiences to our users. As the Head of Engineering, you'll play a critical role in driving user acquisition and revenue generation.

The Customer & Monetization team is responsible for overseeing the product and technical aspects of acquiring new members, registration, onboarding, monetizing the free service through advertisements, and managing subscriptions.

This business unit collaborates with numerous stakeholders, particularly the Marketing Performance, CRM, Brand Partnership, and Revenue teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and engage a large technical team
  • Work closely with the Head of Product and the Head of Payment
  • Inspire, drive, and develop Engineering Managers
  • Ensure the technical work is following industry standards
  • Support Engineering Managers in all aspects of their mission
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Head of Engineering or similar leadership role in application development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of delivering and maintaining successful and innovative applications
  • Demonstrated success in leading and managing high-performing engineering teams
  • Strong interest in business (acquisition, lead, conversion, payment, churn, advertising, CRM,...)
