SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER / ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

Overview of the Position

The ideal candidate will oversee a diverse team on technically demanding initiatives, with a primary focus on Data Centre projects. They will be responsible for steering projects to provide exceptional service to clients while contributing to the ongoing development and expansion of the organization, offering solid technical, design, and contract management expertise.

Our engineering proficiency spans all sectors of the construction industry, delivering practical and effective design solutions to ensure our projects are both spatially and operationally efficient. Our design methodology thoroughly considers the installation and maintenance aspects on-site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the overall performance of the group office/function as part of the management team.
  • Leading one or more areas of technology/discipline/sector.
  • Encouraging learning from both successes and challenges within the group and across the organization.
  • Developing and/or executing plans for the long-term benefit of the office/group.
  • Assisting in the recruitment, evaluation, performance management, development, morale, and motivation of designated staff.
  • Providing constructive and honest feedback to team members.
  • Identifying training needs for groups/teams.
  • Ensuring financial performance in specified areas (maintaining healthy profit/cash flow).
  • Securing work (negotiating significant contracts/agreements with clients and/or suppliers).
  • Holding a Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or equivalent from a recognized professional body.
  • Being acknowledged as an expert within B&W and the industry in the respective region.
  • Addressing complex escalated issues within the designated area.
  • Ensuring healthy profit/cash flow for the area of responsibility.
  • Acting with integrity, being straightforward, respectful, and fair.
  • Promoting and enforcing a culture of respect and inclusion within the organization.
