At TechnipFMC, we deliver complex projects that require innovative solutions. We are seeking a Flexible Pipeline Engineer to join our team in Paris, who can design and develop flexible pipe systems that meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and identify main and critical design parameters for flexible pipe systems.
- Classify requirements per dedicated design tool and ensure compliance with international codes and standards.
- Write technical reports and seek support from R&D department for design optimization.
- Review design reports and technical analyses from other teams' engineers.
- Prepare required documentation for flexible pipe and ancillaries equipment manufacturing.
- Respond clearly to internal and external clients.
- Hold an engineering degree with a specialization in mechanical or hydrodynamic engineering.
- Be fluent in French and English.
- Have good knowledge of Office Pack and Excel, with good notions of VBA or Python programming.
- Be autonomous and organized, demonstrating leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Know how to manage priorities, work well as part of a team, and have good communication skills.
- Continuously raise standards, be innovative and solution-oriented, helping to solve complex problems.
- Be open-minded, willing to travel, and adaptable to work in a multicultural environment.
- Be committed and proactive, with a strong sense of collaboration, and able to make decisions and learn from every situation.
