Business Development Director

Cyient is a global engineering and technology solutions company, and we are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our team. As a Business Development Director, you will be responsible for driving new client sales in the Energy and Plant Engineering business unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a pipeline of customers and build relationships.
- Leverage sales force and drive lead generation.
- Drive for revenue growth and profitability.
- Drive business proposals (technical & commercial).
- Negotiate contracts, MSA and commercial pricing.
- Collaborative leadership with delivery, sales, pre-sales and marketing organizations.
- Drives followership and leads by example.
Requirements:
- Read, write and speak fluent French.
- 10+ years in metrics-driven solutions selling into heavy engineering industry.
- Established contacts and relationships at the C-level, VP, and Director levels.
- Clearly demonstrated experience in revenue growth.
- Strong negotiations background.
- Driven complex technical business proposals.
- Deal flow - how to structure deals, legal contracts, and master service agreements.
- Built eco-system partnerships to help drive revenue growth.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fundamental understanding of all phases of project and plant engineering, IoT & Analytics.
- Knowledge of sustainable energy, oil and gas, and power plant industry practices and market trends.
