About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Guidewire Insurance Suite developer to join our team. As a Guidewire developer, you'll have the opportunity to work on international projects, implement Guidewire solutions, and collaborate with our clients as an active member of an agile project team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing Guidewire Insurance Suite solutions for international clients
  • Implementing and configuring Guidewire modules, such as Claim Center, Policy Center, and Billing Center
  • Implementing integrations between Guidewire and external systems
  • Designing, testing, or providing technical leadership on projects, depending on your experience and project role
About the Skills and Tools

We use a range of technologies and tools, including:

  • Guidewire Insurance Suite
  • Java
  • Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, and similar
  • IntelliJ Idea
  • SoapUI
  • H2, MSSQL, Oracle
  • XML, Xpath
  • Gosu
About the Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Master's degree in IT or equivalent, and at least 2 years of commercial experience as a software developer, preferably in Java
  • Experience with the Guidewire platform
  • Experience in Java and Gosu
  • A strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, clean code principles, and best practices
  • A solid understanding of software engineering concepts
  • Good command of English language, at least B2/C1 level
  • Very good command of French language, at least C1 level
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team
  • Availability to work full time
About the Wishes

  • Guidewire certificates
  • Fluency in French or German
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly in a supportive yet challenging environment
  • Experience with Guidewire Digital Portals
  • Front-end technologies knowledge: HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, JavaScript frameworks (Angular, AngularJS, React)
  • Eagerness to learn about new technologies and solutions
  • Willingness to travel regularly
  • Any of the following: Web services (REST/SOAP), Microservices, JMS knowledge, Spring, or any similar hands-on experience
