Overview of the Global Operations Graduate Program:
The Global Operations Graduate Program (GOGP) is a specialized initiative aimed at exceptional recent graduates to fast-track their development towards exciting career paths within EssilorLuxottica's Global Operations. The program is conducted in various Operations Hubs and spans a total of two years. Participants will be assigned to a specific hub based on their interests, qualifications, and business needs.
Program Structure:
From the outset, participants will be integrated into one of the Operations Functions (such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Logistics, R&D, Sourcing, Quality, New Product Introduction) while also engaging in various training activities. After the first year, a job rotation within the same function will provide the opportunity to broaden perspectives and gain insights from different areas, acquire new technical skills, and receive mentorship from inspiring leaders.
The professional development will be complemented by a structured training path covering diverse topics. The initial phase will involve an Academy that spans the first six months, providing a comprehensive overview of Operations and laying the foundation for subsequent learning experiences. During this time, participants will be encouraged to engage with the program and the organization, fostering a strong community through meaningful relationships with fellow trainees. Following this, participants will delve into various management topics with a prestigious European Business School, enhancing the development of key strategic competencies for a career in Operations. Finally, participants will apply their knowledge through an individual Project Work, allowing them to work on an innovative project and present their findings to leadership.
Essential Qualifications:
- A degree in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or Economics, obtained within the last year or expected in the near future.
- Up to one year of professional experience following the attainment of a Master's Degree.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Significant intercultural experience through work or study abroad for a minimum of four continuous months.
- Willingness to commence the program as specified.
- Eligibility to work in the country of application without requiring visa sponsorship.
