In the role of Billing Manager, you will report directly to the Managing Partners and will be responsible for overseeing all billing operations for the Paris office in conjunction with the UK team.
- Invoice Management: Generate, distribute, and track invoices, payments, and reminders.
- Client Account Oversight: Administer client accounts and manage debt recovery efforts.
- Financial Reporting: Compile financial reports and assess billing performance metrics.
- Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys and the accounting department for data gathering and account closures.
- Dispute Resolution: Address billing disputes and liaise with clients to find resolutions.
- Data Maintenance: Keep client information and billing rates current in the systems.
- Process Improvement: Enhance billing procedures to boost operational efficiency.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to tax and accounting standards.
- Training: Onboard new staff and provide continuous support regarding billing processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in billing management within a law firm setting.
- Skills: Proficiency in English (minimum C1 level), Microsoft Office, and Accounting/Finance ERP systems.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail, proactive approach, and adaptability.
