Scriveiner, a leading luxury pen manufacturer, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of sales and retail distribution, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the sales team in daily operations, including managing schedules, organizing sales data, and preparing reports.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, to maintain and analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and generate financial reports.
  • Conduct thorough research on the internet and within databases to gather relevant market and competitor information.
  • Understand and apply concepts of sales margins, retail, wholesale, and distribution channels to support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze Profit and Loss (P&L) statements to identify trends, forecast sales, and recommend adjustments to improve profitability.
  • Learn and execute complex, repetitive procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring that all goals and deadlines are met.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong self-motivation and goal orientation.
  • Support the development and execution of sales strategies to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal to effectively liaise with stakeholders.
  • Ability to learn and perform complex, repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy.
  • Solid understanding of sales, margins, and the ability to interpret P&L statements.
  • Familiarity with retail, wholesale, and retail distribution channels.
  • Skilled in conducting internet and database research.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a sales assistant or similar role.
  • Experience in the retail or wholesale industry.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and sales tracking tools.
