Job Overview:
The Technical Sales Support Specialist for Temperature Control (TC) operates within a Pan-European team framework across the EMEA region.

This role is pivotal in enhancing market presence and driving revenue growth for the TC product line, particularly in the South-West and Emerging Market territories.

A collaborative mindset is essential, coupled with the capacity to generate new insights, inspire transformation, and prioritize operational strategies.

The Specialist will take direct accountability for meeting their sales objectives.

They will collaborate with broader commercial teams to execute their sales strategies by motivating colleagues and advocating for their growth vision.

Identifying and expanding wallet share within Key and Strategic Accounts is a critical aspect of this role. Experience in discovering, assessing, and qualifying new business opportunities while applying strategic selling methodologies is vital.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, manage, and execute an annual 'Business Development Plan'.
  • Conduct regular assessments to evaluate progress and performance against set objectives and targets.
  • Deliver quarterly performance reviews and implement corrective action plans as necessary.
  • Lead the sales initiatives for the TC product range and drive revenue enhancement and market share growth in the designated regions.
  • Assume the role of a 'TC Sales Champion' rather than a 'Product Manager'.
  • Enhance sales knowledge within the Channel and direct Sales teams regarding the TC equipment portfolio.
  • Implement a proactive hybrid training strategy, utilizing digital tools and engaging in joint field-based sales visits to promote a collaborative learning environment.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in TC sales across the region.
  • Conduct regular pipeline and funnel management reviews.
  • Uncover new growth opportunities.
  • Generate ongoing demand through direct customer engagements, seminars, tabletop events, and workshops.
  • Assist in the preparation of public tenders.
  • Gather 'voice of the customer' feedback to inform the development of new products.
  • Collaborate with the TSS Manager to identify and execute tactical initiatives.
  • Serve as a role model for driving change and adherence to internal processes.
  • Ensure a minimum of 60% field activity engagement.


Experience/Qualifications/Attributes:
  • Higher education qualification in Life Sciences or related Technical fields.
  • Proven track record in sales roles with evidence of solution-oriented selling and the ability to implement action plans to meet annual targets.
  • Ability to lead without direct authority, influence stakeholders, and demonstrate strong commercial acumen.
  • Excellent time management skills and task prioritization.
  • Extensive experience in pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Capability to analyze performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated success in fostering inter-departmental relationships and working within cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to operate autonomously, demonstrating initiative and sound business judgment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in teams.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English is essential.
