Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Technician/Manager to join our team at Kyron in Paris. As a key member of our biotechnology team, you will be responsible for managing laboratory operations, conducting experiments, and ensuring the highest quality of research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute experiments using cloning, PCR, and E. coli culturing techniques
- Maintain and propagate mammalian cell lines, including mycoplasma testing and cryopreservation
- Perform protein analysis using SDS-PAGE, immunoblotting, and immunofluorescence
- Contribute to the setup and maintenance of our laboratory space in central Paris
- Coordinate daily laboratory operations, including equipment ordering and maintenance
Requirements:
- Masters (or equivalent) qualification in a relevant field
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a laboratory setting
- Extensive experience with cloning, PCR amplification, and plasmid manipulation
- Experience with protein analysis and mammalian cell culture
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of laboratory safety rules and regulations
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
Preferred Skills:
- Cultured CHO and HEK cell lines
- Experience working with yeast cells
- Experience in laboratory space setup and maintenance
- Relevant industrial experience
