Senior Finance Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Manager to join our team in Cluster France-Benelux. As a key member of the EMEA Commercial Finance leadership team, you will report to the Senior Director Commercial Finance EMEA.
Key Responsibilities:- Business Partner the region's Commercial teams to provide excellence in financial planning, analysis, controls, and insight to deliver the regional P&L.
- Lead the Cluster P&L, sit on the Cluster leadership team, and directly Business Partner the Cluster leadership.
- Drive accountability for results and support Customer decision making (Terms & pricing/Promotion/Portfolio analysis and recommendation/Marketing spend ROI, etc.).
- Ownership of the delivery of the Cluster P&L and associated KBI's.
- Support Cluster reporting cadence, including ownership of Monthly Performance review document.
- Leading the preparation of budgets and forecasts, identifying key assumptions and challenges that are embedded in the plans.
- Ownership of Financial BI tools, ensuring data integrity and enhancing reporting outputs.
- Report and respond to Performance Analytics and Insights:
- Customer;
- Brand;
- Product Portfolio;
- D&T;
- Innovation;
- Market Share;
- Stock in Channel;
- Demand alignment;
- Customer Service.
- Input to NPD process and act as liaison to Brand Finance including for A&P / Investment decisions.
- Overhead Management:
- People and Bought;
- Budgeting;
- Cost control.
- Deliver financial month-end in partnership with Accounting and FP&A, providing accrual input and P&L review/insight.
- Know and understand finance elements of markets; competitors; customers; products.
- University Diploma from business economics school.
- At least 10 years working experience in Commercial Finance /FP&A roles.
- Exposure to management of large-scale businesses, ideally in a Consumer Goods environment.
- Excellent Fluency in English language both written and spoken. Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to present complex financial information to Senior stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills, analytical capabilities, and a strong working knowledge of BI applications.
- A natural Business Partner able to build rapport, trust, and influence the outcome.
- A track record of driving financial performance, both top-line and profitability.
- A history of leading and shaping high-performing teams to deliver results that drive the business forward.
- An Inquisitive mind, able to quickly assess risks and opportunities within complex business situations and provide logical Commercial solutions.
- Not only a resilience to change, but also drive to innovate and to deal with ambiguity. Improving Finance capabilities and instilling a Continuous Improvement-mindset in your team and the organization.
