Senior Global Analysis Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Global Analysis Engineer to join our team at Aventa. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing engineering and installation support for our Offshore Wind development projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to the elaboration of Design brief and design basis documents.
- Perform numerical analysis using industry-standard software (Orcaflex, Uflex) to define cable configurations, conduct extreme, interference, and fatigue analyses, and determine cross-section mechanical properties.
- Interpret results and develop design solutions in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
- Produce design documentation, including feasibility reports, detailed in-place design reports, specifications, and material take-offs.
- Liaise with method engineers to support the development of installation procedures and provide lay tables.
- Ensure design compliance with industry codes, standards, and design guides (e.g., API, DNV, ISO); client specifications, and scopes of work.
- MSc or PhD in hydrodynamics, marine engineering, naval architecture, or renewable energies.
- Relevant internships/work experience in the renewable marine energy and/or oil & gas industry, working on global/installation analyses and/or in-place design of cables/risers/flexibles.
- Knowledge in FEA modeling.
- Experience in cable and/or umbilical would be a plus.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Ability to undertake responsibility for production of deliverables, including design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports, bid evaluations, study reports, and various 3rd-party submissions.
- Experience in working in a multi-disciplined system engineering team.
- Demonstrable ability to work within time/budget constraints.
- Ability to prioritize own workload, manage time accordingly, and inform team members where constraints will affect a project in terms of program or budget.
- Personal interest in analysis tools and development (Python, VBA, etc.).
- Ability to work in a multicultural group.
- Ability to take initiatives is strongly valued.
