We are seeking a dedicated Senior Buyer for Industrial Waste Management to join our team at SUEZ. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the procurement of materials and services essential for projects focused on the storage and handling of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. You will work closely with project engineers and team members to ensure that all procured items comply with technical specifications and quality benchmarks.

  • Oversee procurement activities for projects involving waste storage and excavation
  • Collaborate with technical teams and site personnel to manage operational demands across various locations
  • Identify potential suppliers, conduct procurement processes, and negotiate pricing and contract terms
  • Explore innovative solutions and broaden supplier networks
  • Manage procurement categories related to excavation while ensuring effective supplier management strategies
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of procurement practices within the organization

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a focus on Procurement
  • 5-10 years of experience in procurement for industrial projects
  • Experience in procurement related to maintenance or excavation is advantageous
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and teamwork abilities
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in Excel and possess a good command of English
