Job Overview
Position Summary:
As a Technical Solutions Consultant at Dynatrace, you will play a pivotal role within the Dynatrace sales organization, delivering exceptional technical assistance to our sales team, prospects, and clients. You will become the authority on the Dynatrace platform and all aspects of Observability. In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for conducting impactful demonstrations that showcase Dynatrace's distinctive approach to addressing customer challenges, managing and executing Proof of Concepts (POCs) both remotely and on-site, fostering essential relationships with Dynatrace's clientele, and completing Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Collaboration with various teams, including Dynatrace's innovation labs, ACE Services consultants, Customer Success Managers (CSMs), and marketing, will also be a key part of your role.
Qualifications
About You:
To thrive as a Technical Solutions Consultant at Dynatrace, you should be an ambitious, confident, and self-driven individual with prior experience in a Solutions Engineering or similar technical customer-facing role. A passion for cutting-edge technology, technical sales, and conveying value to clients and prospects is essential. Additionally, we seek candidates who possess:
- A few years of experience supporting sales teams in presales roles, demonstrating a history of contributing to sales success.
- Strong teamwork abilities, capable of collaborating across diverse disciplines.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to translate technical value into business benefits.
- 3 to 5 years of experience with programming languages such as Java, .NET, PHP, or JavaScript, along with a solid understanding of web technologies and SQL.
- Familiarity with operating systems, including Windows and Linux.
- The capability to troubleshoot technical challenges to achieve effective solutions and manage this process efficiently.
- The ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with various sales personnel and supporting fellow Solutions Engineers as needed.
- A strong desire for professional growth, adaptability to a constantly evolving environment, and a willingness to learn.
- Fluency in English and French.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- Experience with technologies and methodologies related to Observability.
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery, Dojo, and AngularJS.
- Knowledge of Java technologies, including Servlets, Struts, Spring, Web Services, EJB, and JMS.
- Experience with cloud and big data technologies.
