About the Role

Piper Maddox is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team in expanding our customer base and promoting our electric vehicle solutions. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

New Customer Acquisition

  • Identify and engage with potential clients through various channels, including networking and referrals.
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations that highlight the advantages of our electric vehicle solutions.
  • Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders in targeted accounts.
  • Understand customer requirements and tailor solutions to meet their unique business needs.
  • Closing deals by negotiating favourable terms, pricing, and contracts to meet sales goals.

Pipeline Management

  • Use CRM software to maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and forecasts.
  • Monitor progress against sales objectives, proactively addressing any obstacles.
  • Provide regular status updates to sales management on key accounts and upcoming opportunities.
  • Continuously improve sales strategies and processes to enhance effectiveness and productivity.

Market Insight and Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment with market trends and client needs.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients to ensure satisfaction and handle any issues that arise.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, competitors, and market shifts to effectively position our electric vehicle solutions.
Requirements

Experience & Behavioural Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, ideally in a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to establish rapport with clients.
  • Proven negotiation and persuasion skills, with a focus on closing deals.
  • Proactive and results-driven, with a passion for generating leads and growing the business.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with a supportive team mindset.
  • Thorough understanding of sales techniques and methodologies, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Positive attitude with a pragmatic approach and a balance of optimism and realism.
  • Team-oriented, with a strong belief in supporting team success.

Education and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., SAP) and other digital tools such as Microsoft Office, Jira, Confluence, and Miro.
  • Capacity to understand and sell technical products effectively.

Travel & Organizational Skills

  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
