Thermal Insulation Supervisor

Altrad is seeking a skilled Thermal Insulation Supervisor to join our team in Grangemouth. As a Thermal Insulation Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of thermal insulation projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise thermal insulation teams to ensure compliance with Altrad and client procedures, maintaining health and safety and thermal insulation practices.
- Communicate effectively with team members, ensuring they understand working methods and safety risk assessments.
- Collaborate with the Altrad technical/safety department to determine adequate safe systems of work.
- Identify and escalate significant risks to health and safety of employees or third parties.
- Assess tasks and work areas in preparation for risk assessments and method statements.
- Supervise employees under your control, ensuring tasks are carried out correctly and safely in line with Altrad procedures.
- Monitor and maintain good housekeeping, ensuring work areas are kept tidy.
- Attend planning meetings, both Altrad and client.
- Report to the Site Manager daily, communicating operational updates and progress of planning of work under your supervisory control.
- Knowledge and understanding of thermal insulation, with NVQ or City & Guilds certification.
- IOSH Managing Safely certification.
- CCNSG Safety Passport.
- Thermal Insulation CSCS Gold Card, desirable.
