Thermal Insulation Supervisor

Altrad is seeking a highly skilled Insulation Supervisor to join our team in Grangemouth. As an Insulation Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of thermal insulation projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the work of insulation teams to ensure compliance with Altrad and client procedures, maintaining health and safety and thermal insulation practices.
- Conduct pre-job briefings to discuss working methods and safety risk assessments with team members.
- Communicate with the Altrad technical/safety department to determine adequate safe systems of work.
- Identify and escalate any significant risks to health and safety of employees or third parties who may be affected by any Altrad operations.
- Assess tasks and work areas in preparation for Risk Assessments and Method Statements to be compiled.
- Supervise employees under their control, ensuring tasks are being carried out correctly and safely in line with Altrad procedures.
- Monitor and maintain good housekeeping, ensuring work areas are kept tidy.
- Attend planning meetings, both Altrad and the client.
- Report to the Site Manager daily, communicating operational updates, progress of planning of work under their supervisory control.
- Knowledge and understanding of Thermal Insulation, (NVQ or City & Guilds)
- IOSH Managing Safely
- CCNSG Safety Passport
- Thermal Insulation CSCS Gold Card Card holder, desirable.
