Job Overview

As a Field Service Engineer at TOMRA Recycling, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance of our sensor-based sorters at installation bases. Your primary responsibility will be to install, commission, maintain, optimize, and repair these systems, guaranteeing maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Commissioning: Safely install and commission sensor-based sorters, ensuring they meet the required specifications and are fully functional.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Optimization and Troubleshooting: Analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement, implementing solutions to optimize sorter efficiency and troubleshoot issues.
  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Technical Support: Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and provide support for complex system problems.
Requirements
  • Technical Qualifications: Hold a technical training certificate at BAC+2 level (Electronics / Electro-technical / Automation / Industrial maintenance or similar) or have relevant experience in on-site preventive and curative maintenance.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in French and English languages.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel approximately 80% of the time, primarily in France, with occasional international trips.
  • Additional Requirements: Possess a valid car license, have a solid technical foundation, particularly in electricity, and be proficient in computer programs and PC configuration.
