Join Our Team at Quandela

We are a spin-off company from the French national laboratory CNRS, founded in 2017. Our team brings together experts in quantum technology, semiconductor nanotechnologies, quantum optics, computer science, and quantum information processing.

Located in the southern suburbs of Paris, with our main offices in Massy and fabrication facilities in the Paris-Saclay campus, we are developing photonic quantum computing platforms. Our goal is to create real-world use-cases and applications for quantum computing.

Our core product consists of ultra-bright sources of single-photons based on a disruptive technology developed over 15 years at the C2N-CNRS laboratory. These unique quantum light sources serve as building blocks for optical quantum computers and quantum networks.

Internship Opportunities

We are offering an internship opportunity for a talented individual to join our team in charge of fabricating these ultra-bright single-photon sources. The internship can take place throughout the year and will involve working on one of the following topics:

  • Optical spectroscopy of quantum dots and in-situ photolithography
  • Characterization of sources using customized optical tools
  • Quantitative analysis of key metrics and their optimization
  • Test and characterization of innovative solutions
Requirements

To be eligible for this internship, you must be enrolled in a university program with an internship period. This should be a Bachelor, Master, or equivalent program in Physics, Engineering, or a related field. You must also be available full-time for 4 to 6 months and have a background in optics, photonics, physics, or a related discipline.

We are looking for individuals who are curious, energetic, and love solving problems. Experience with Python is a plus, but not required.

Benefits

We offer a unique and challenging international environment, strong potential for fast career development within a growing team, and tickets restaurant and transportation costs.
