Job Summary

The Account Manager will be part of Revvity Gene Delivery`s global Sales Team and directly report to the Head of the Sales Team. This role will be responsible for managing territory-specific sales activities and growing business opportunities within South Europe and Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sales processes from inquiry to order generation for designated regions
  • Present custom solutions in close cooperation with the wet-lab or appropriate business unit
  • Deliver presentations and scientific communication about the company's technology and service portfolio to researchers, principal investigators, and business managers in the Pharmaceutical and Biotech industries
  • Build and maintain long-lasting business relationships with existing and new clients
  • Prospect for new clients and develop value propositions
  • Monitor market landscaping and identify potential development opportunities in the relevant territories
  • Develop action plans and marketing activities to achieve annual goals
  • Represent Revvity Gene Delivery at symposia and conferences to gather market insights

Requirements

  • Hold a PhD in a Life Sciences discipline or a Master's degree with several years of experience in a similar position
  • Have a good understanding of molecular biology, viral vectors, gene, and cell therapy
  • Have worked in a similar position for a minimum of 2 to 3 years
  • Preferentially have work experience in early discovery and have worked for a similar supplier to this industry
  • Be a fast learner with a growth mindset and the ability to positively adapt to change
  • Be result-oriented
  • Enjoy working in an international environment
  • Have excellent presentation and organizational skills, including attention to detail, efficiency, and prioritization
  • Be able to effectively communicate technical information and build strong personal relationships with highly technical scientists and lab managers
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages such as French or German would be a plus)
  • Be able to meet people, be an icebreaker, and be able to deal with people
  • Be a team player with a collaborative mindset but also able to work autonomously
  • Display excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and accountability
  • Have strong skills in MS Office

This position may be subject to home-office arrangements. The role requires field travel for client visits, conferences, and similar representations, with an estimated 50% travel requirement.
