Job Summary

The Global E-commerce Analytics Product Owner will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and performance of L'Oréal's e-commerce analytics capabilities across all platforms and markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce analytics strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and market trends.
  • Take ownership of e-commerce analytics tools and processes across all e-commerce platforms, including marketplaces, pure players, and e-retailers.
  • Utilize advanced analytics techniques to derive actionable insights from e-commerce data, including sales performance, customer behavior, and market trends.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize e-commerce performance through data-driven decision-making, including pricing optimization, product assortment planning, and promotional strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, Tech & IT, and supply chain, to drive alignment and integration of e-commerce analytics initiatives.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand their analytics needs and priorities and ensure timely delivery of insights and solutions.
  • Evaluate, select, and implement e-commerce analytics tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of analytics capabilities.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in e-commerce analytics and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the maturity and sophistication of L'Oréal's e-commerce analytics capabilities.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
  • In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms, market dynamics, and consumer behavior in the digital space.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into analytics initiatives and actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and drive them to successful completion.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and business requirements.
